This streamer was designed by Denny Boulton, a member of the Totem Flyfishers back in the 1960's. The fly was created for the steelhead population of the Capilano River.

Boulton Special Fly Pattern Recipe

Hook: Mustad L87-3665A or similar
Thread: Black 6/0
Body: Silver flat mylar tinsel
Rib: Gold oval tinsel
Tail: Brown hackle fibers
Throat: Red hackle fibers
Wing: 2 white hackles flanked by yellow flanked by furnace hackle
Eyes: Jungle cock nails
