Fly Tying the Glitter Shrimp Fly Seatrout - Piscator Flies Pattern 79

The Glitter Shrimp is an old Danish fly pattern that's been used for fishing the winter seatrout. The fly is tied in a number of bright and dull colors ranging from the white pearl to hot pinks and branching to olives and tans. The fly can be tied using either the bead chain eyes or burnt monofilament eyes.

The body is made from any reflective chenille such as Estaz, Fritz, crystal chenille, cactus chenille or flash chenille. It may be trimmed to give the fly a more realistic profile.

I would also consider fishing this in salt water for bonefish or other warm water targets.
