The Pompier (firefighter in English) is a well known Québec pattern for Atlantic salmon. On my trip to the Gaspé this was one of the flies that was recommended to me.
I'll illustrate two versions of this fly with a slight change in the order of materials. I've also substituted calftail for the polar bear wing.
