Summer fishing for wild trout with dry flies: even though the trout are small, I love this style of fishing! On this day, I fished to upper Manistee river and the "holy waters" stretch of the Au Sable River. Managed to get a few brook and brown trout to rise to size 14 Royal Trude and Elk Hair Caddis dry fly patterns, despite no real hatches.
