I would like to present a tale to you. This is a drama with multiple parts and chapters. It covers love, loss, sense of place and life.

Jen and I escaped up to one of our favorite rivers in the summer to find some cold water for fishing and swimming. It was a really wonderful trip with the exception of one major thing. I broke the tip off of my @Redingtonflyfishing 3wt Trout Classic rod.....sigh.....

This rod is a great rod for the price and it's perfect for water just like this. It's also the rod that I use to fish high mountain lakes from the float tube, so its loss is felt deeply.

That being said, I was able to keep fishing it, and had a really nice day of fishing despite the rod blunder. The whole experience felt like some sort of life analogy. Check out the video to see what I'm talking about.
