Bishop CA Fishing - Owens River. We had such a fantastic day Fishing in Bishop CA on the Owens River. This was a great fishing trip, we stayed at the Travelodge on Elm St and had a nice complimentary breakfast of eggs, bagels and coffee. We headed out to Pleasant Valley Reservoir in Bishop CA for our 3rd day in a row since we were having such luck there. We parked at the Gorge Rd Power Plant and rode our bikes to the boat ramp that's about a mile and a half down the road. Right away Adrian and Ernie caught some fish, then I (Suzy) got in on the trout action, YeeHaw! Then Adrian hooked up to a huge fish that gave him such a fight, so hard in fact that it broke his line. It looked to be over a 3 pounder, it would've been a nice trophy fish for sure! That fish got to live another day to tell his fish friends how he got away! Then Alex caught a huge Brown Trout fish using a European Nightcrawler that we purchased from Amazon, it really was a beauty! Then I snagged a nice rainbow, then Alex followed up with a nice rainbow trout too. Then Adrian caught one, it was a fish catching frenzy that day! I even was just pulling in my line to check my bait and a fish decided to bite.

This was a 5 day fishing trip and this is day 4, will be adding more fishing videos soon. Very beautiful scenery and the stream is narrow at parts but at the boat ramp is a bit wider. We went fishing with Alex's brother Nick, and his Best Friend Adrian and his brother Ernie.

We caught 7 fish total, Alex caught 3 fish and Suzy caught 4 trout, it was starting to get dark so we biked back to the truck. We worked up an appetite and decided to drive into town and grab Mexican food from Salsa's Taqueria, it's a really nice spot and they have a huge Salsa Bar. Alex got the Taco Meal and I got Taco Salad.

We stayed at the Travelodge on Elm St in Bishop California and they provide an area to clean and gut fish, as well as a nice freezer to store them all in. After Alex finished cleaning the fish, we put them in the freezer, check out our rows of fish!
