Are the salmon starting to push up the Lake Ontario tributaries yet?

In this video, I head out to check the Lake Ontario salmon run and see if Chinook and Coho salmon have started pushing up the rivers and creeks. I walk the creek searching for salmon, check some of the deeper pools, and head up to the dam to see if any salmon are jumping.

Along the way, I talk about how to catch salmon in Ontario and some of the best budget-friendly salmon fishing gear for beginners, which covers beads, leader, hooks, weights and more
