Winter steelhead season is coming to a close, so I linked up with Brian from @AutomagicFishing Fishing for one last trip of the year. We hit the river early in the morning and managed to hook into a couple steelhead right off the bat. The bite slowed down through the day, but we stayed after it and finally put one on the bank in the afternoon.

For most of this trip I was running my go-to setup — bobber dogging, which has become one of my favorite techniques for covering water and keeping the bait moving naturally through the drift.

I was also testing out a new soft bead from @FishOnBryce. and even better, we custom created this bead setup and ended up catching a fish on it. Always a good feeling when something you put together actually produces!

Great way to wrap up the winter steelhead season. Hope you enjoy the video.
