???? Scottish National Fly Fishing League – Event 1 | Burnhouse Lochan First Divison Heat

The 2026 Scottish National Fly Fishing League (SNFFL) season begins at Burnhouse Lochan Fishery, with anglers competing across two stillwater sessions in challenging conditions.

Session one started bright and flat calm, making for technical fishing across the loch. Despite the tricky surface conditions, competitors landed 70 fish overall, with Paul Boyle taking the session win.

In the second session the conditions changed, with increasing wind and continued bright skies, forcing anglers to adapt quickly and work hard for every take.
