Scottish Fly anglers HATE this new Trout Fishing Method

BFS fishing - or Bait Finesse System - is a method of fishing that originated in japan, quickly spread to America and Europe, but hasn't really caught on in Scotland.

This is partly because fly fishing is very much the dominant method here, with almost all waters -except some of the wild ones - being strictly fly only. I predict as more and more anglers discover emerging ultra light fishing methods like BSF, this could slowly change, but judging by some of the comments I receive on my videos, they won't give it up easily.

Welcome to my channel - my name is Shaun - known as 'Fishing Shaun' on YouTube (and elsewhere) - @fishingshaun - I live and fish in Scotland but love traveling and fishing everywhere. In recent years, I've become more and more interested in ultra light fishing methods, whether that's LRF for sea fishing or BFS in fresh water. I'm a former fishing magazine editor (fly and sea fishing titles), as well as being a Scotland-capped international competition angler. Those days are behind me now and I'm just enjoying getting out there to fish different places and connecting with other anglers in real life and on the internet. Please do subscribe here if you are enjoying these videos and I'll see you in the next video!
