First Oregon Winter Steelhead fishing trip of 2024 and we started the new year with a limit of chrome steelhead using beads and a bobber. We used a kayak to cross the river and access more water that was stacked with steelhead. Come along for the fishing trip and enjoy some fishing while our Oregon rivers are currently blown out with all this rain and winter weather. I was using BnR soft beads in pink pearl color on this day with a simple Okuma rod and reel from Bi-Mart. I used 10-pound Maxima monofilament as well.
