Went for a night fishing session with my good buddy Randy Lobono who is an amazing guide to see if i could catch my first King Salmon. Turns out all that time he has out on the water pays off. We had a ton of fun casting crank baits, mostly Rapala Jointed 13s, and caught some giants in the harbors. The river was not that good compared to the marina. Broke off on a few too unfortunately but that's part of fishing for these giant ocean fish. These Salmon sure do seem to be biting near Chicago and Milwaukee in northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.
*Night fishing makes it a bit hard to see, next time I need more lights.
