With bluebell due to re open on the 27th December I venture up to the complex Boxing Day evening to wait for the gates to open to give me the best possible chance of catching my final carp of 2025, with the lake recently being hit with floods and cold temperatures I wasn’t feeling overly optimistic…. But in this case it turned out to be effort = reward!
