This video Is all about my hunt for a big canal perch! The weather is still pretty cold and the method for the day would be slow jigging. Gently hopping and twitching the baits across the canal bed. Mostly fishing with creature baits I was hoping to find the deeper areas, wider sections and baitfish to in turn find the big perch. Inevitably the jack pike turned up to the party early on, but did I manage to catch a big canal stripy?
