I'm getting ready to head to the Rio Grande to fish for pike. Yep - you heard me right. There are pike in this water! I have always thought of it as strictly a trout fishery (in the northern part of NM anyway) but in reality there are catfish, smallmouth bass, trout AND pike. Game on. In this video I will tie a clouser minnow for you and in the next video we will be on the river fishing these flies for pike. It's my first time fishing for pike and I'm also pretty new at fly tying tutorial videos. Go easy on me!

If you want to purchase some of the materials I used to tie this fly (or anything else really...) - you can gently tap a link, chose your products, and stand by the mailbox. Doing so will help our channel ever so slightly - buying through these Amazon links below will kick back a small percentage to us. Thanks in advance.
