In the Portland to Westport area boat anglers averaged 0.23 spring Chinook caught per boat, while anglers fishing in the estuary averaged 0.2 spring Chinook caught per boat. Bank anglers fishing in the gorge averaged 0.2 spring Chinook caught per angler, while anglers in the Portland to Westport area averaged 0.02 spring Chinook caught per angler. In the estuary, bank anglers averaged 0.13 steelhead caught per angler. On Saturday’s (3/26) flight, 1,468 salmonid boats and 483 Oregon bank anglers were counted from the Columbia River Estuary to Bonneville Dam.
