The Don Clausen Fish Hatchery, also known as the Warm Springs Fish Hatchery, is situated just downstream of Lake Sonoma in Geyserville, California. Operated by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife in collaboration with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the hatchery plays a crucial role in conserving and enhancing local fish populations, particularly coho salmon and steelhead trout, within the Russian River watershed.

Coho Salmon: Spawning typically occurs from mid-November through February.
Steelhead Trout: Spawning generally takes place from January through mid-April.
