With only a few hours available, I headed down to the lake for a short day session to see if I could get amongst the carp.

It wasn't exactly a session full of monsters ???? but I managed to get a couple of carp on the bank, along with a few unwanted visitors along the way.

Sometimes you don't need 24 or 48 hours on the bank — just get the rods out and make the most of the time you've got.
