Join me for some Brook Trout Stream Fishing as I explore a new backcountry stream. I really enjoy getting out and fishing different brook trout waters in the Adirondacks near my home and this video documents a successful trip to a stream I have never fished before, but will certainly go to again. This is a pretty simple style of fly fishing requiring minimal gear and is suitable to fly fishing for beginners and experts as well.

As fly anglers, we often take ourselves too seriously. Fly fishing doesn’t have to be all trout or some exotic saltwater species, there is plenty of fun and challenge to fishing a local pond whether it is in a public park or on an overnight stay somewhere.

Hand tied leader tapering to 6x
