This week at on The Fensmere Cary Chronicles, it’s all about getting ready for our anglers arriving Friday for their week of carp fishing at Fensmere and I also had to track down some barley straw, thanks to a tip from Lee Gray at Brothers Lake and some help from Steve at Jay Lake in the Brenne region of France.

While up in the Brenne, I caught up with my mates Kev Gardner from Tackle Boys (fishing the famous Patillerie Lake Brenne Carping) and while I was there Andy fishing on the main social point swim landed a stunning mid-30 mirror carp right as I arrived for the camera.

In this video, I take you around Petillerie Lake – a prolific Brenne venue with multiple 40s, 50s, and big 60s.
Show you each swim and share tips on their productivity.
Give a quick look at Jay Lake and chat with Steve about the lake and its facilities. I will do another specific video at Jay Lake in mid June.
