After a great week fishing a huge public lake in France, it’s been on like Donkey Kong back at Fensmere Fish Farm and Fensmere Carp Fishing Holidays!

In this week’s video, I’m straight back into the grind — refilling feeders, checking on the lakes, and tackling a massive solo job: getting the final posts in and tensioning the wires across the Leney Pond ready for the Collins Nets predator netting install.

The rain didn’t stop play as I battled through to get the wires up, then wrestled two huge 150ft x 100ft nets together to create one giant predator cover. It’s been a tough but rewarding week, and next Wednesday the big installation begins with Rob, Steve and Sally — fingers crossed we can make it all come together!

Meanwhile, new angler Toby arrived and settled into The Rocky Single swim, chasing some of Fensmere’s cracking carp.

???? Watch the full episode to see all the action from both Fensmere Lake and Fensmere Fish Farm, the rain-soaked graft, and a sneak peek at the next big phase in our fishery development journey.
