Join me for a few busy days as I balance life between running a carp fishery and managing a fish farm here in France! With anglers fishing at Fensmere, I make sure to be on-site to help with netting, weighing, and photographing their catches—sometimes even rushing down at 4 AM to capture those special moments.

But it’s not all about fish—there’s plenty of graft too! After the morning feeding spell, I head up to the fish farm, where I tackle essential maintenance work. In this video, that means chainsawing trees along the diversion stream bank, checking on the stock, and keeping everything running smoothly.

From the highs of seeing anglers land their dream fish to the hard work that keeps the fishery and farm thriving, this is what life as a fishery owner is all about!
