Rob Burgess travels to premiere commercial carp fishery Willow Park in Hampshire for his first CarpFix film. Upon arrival it doesn’t take long for Rob to locate some carp showing in a deeper area of the lake. Full of confidence that a bite is on the cards it soon becomes apparent that they’re playing hard to catch as you’ll learn, Rob isn’t one for sitting behind motionless rods, in fact, we lost count the number of times he reeled in to change tactics.
On the second morning the carp were clearly still in the same area of the lake and Rob’s persistence was about to pay off! A bite came on a zig which he’d not long put out, a pristine common was his reward for all his hard work over the previous 24hrs.
