This is my thirty sixth vlog (video blog) filmed in December, 2017. I spent the morning fishing an iced-out small river with jigs, and I ended up catching a common carp on a bucktail jig. I filleted the carp, cooked it, and tasted it; it was surprisingly delicious! I opted to pan fry the carp fillets. It tasted like a combination of smelt, salmon, and walleye, and the extra bones really weren't that hard to remove while I was eating it.
