Catching gizzard shad, cleaning shad and cooking shad. Can you make Gizzard Shad taste good? Can you eat Gizzard shad. Well apparently you can! I tried cooking and eating gizzard shad for the first time and it wasn't bad and I learned a great new recipe that I am sure to use again.
