Waranga basin is a mid sized lake near Rushworth in Victoria. Used as a storage basin for irrigation, this lake is home to good numbers of Redfin Perch, along with Yellowbelly and the occasional Trout and Murray Cod.
I spent the day mainly casting lures around the edges, getting consistent bites with some good numbers of Redfin caught, unfortunately none of which were big enough to take home for a feed.
