Thanks for watching!

In this video, Jack and I set out on a mission to chase down some giant brown trout during one of the most legendary hatches of the year, the Mother’s Day Caddis Hatch in Idaho. This hatch brings the river to life with swarms of caddis flies, and when the timing is right, the trout go absolutely wild.

After some scouting, we found the bugs... and more importantly, we found the fish! The river was boiling with rising trout, and we knew it was game time. What followed was some of the best dry fly fishing of the season with aggressive eats, explosive takes, and buttery brown trout that tested every inch of our gear. From slow, technical drifts to heart-pounding hooksets, this trip had it all.

Whether you're a diehard fly angler or just someone who loves watching wild fish in beautiful places, this episode is packed with action, scenic shots, and good vibes. It’s days like this that remind us why we chase trout.
