The Fly Fishing community is TOXIC - why everyone HATES fly anglers!

I grew up bass fishing and when I was 30 taught myself to fly fish. Knowing what I know now, I'm not sure I would have gotten into fly fishing. The toxic attitudes and constant shaming that goes on in the fly fishing community is ruining the experience. Sadly, social media is helping spread the hate and it seems to be growing out of control. BUT IT'S not just social media...it's happening a ton more now on the water, property owners and anglers harassing other while fishing...I talk about several experiences I've had on Arkansas tailwaters in the video (but could talk about a dozen more in other areas). The general attitude in the fishing community is that fly fishers are the worst and that view seems to be gaining in popularity. Now after doing both, 18 years of fly and 40 years conventional, I wouldn't argue.
