This is my very first video fishing the canal, and I’ll be taking you along for the full journey. Canal carp aren’t easy to track down – it’s weedy, snaggy and extremely low stocked– but that’s what makes it such a rewarding challenge.

In this video, I’ll introduce the series, show you my approach, and set the scene for what’s to come. Expect plenty of tough sessions, bankside tactics, and hopefully some stunning canal carp along the way.
