surf fishing at newport for redtail surf perch. there was a small break in the weather (wind wise) and I finally made it out for the first time this year. the wind has been relentless. but I guess the oregon coast is always windy. if you do go surf fishing, I highly recommend you watch the ocean as much as you can - and bring a partner if you can.
