I had another decent day of surf fishing on the oregon coast. I went during low tide because I wanted to see how the fishing is between low and high tide. started around 8 am and finished about 11:30 am.
the best time to surf fish is usually high tide, but I've found that is not always the case for certain areas. this trip was just a way for me to collect more data and learn from different situations.
besides having my stradic "fail" on me when the anti reverse didn't kick in, it was a decent day of catching surf perch. I quit around 11 when the wind was blowing 20+ mph.
