Summertime is finally here, and the fishing is heating up.
In this episode of Chasing Rivers, I spend the morning on the water looking for a carp that’s willing to eat a fly. The day starts with hard-fighting carp, includes some aggressive bass, a snake and even a surprise rainbow trout.
No fancy destination. No guide. Just my fly rod, the water and another reminder of why I ‘have’ to fly fish.
For me, fishing has never been just about the fish. It’s always been about healing, slowing down, spending time outdoors, and finding peace in the places that matter most. Whether you’re chasing trout, bass, carp, or simply looking for a reason to get outside, I hope this video encourages you to hit the water and make some memories of your own.
