In this video I tie the famous Squirminator pattern. However I tie this one to use on our annual salmon/steelhead fishing trip to NY. When fishing up there we use Daiichi X510 hooks which are very strong hooks which can hold up to the large salmon we catch. This fly can just as easily be tied on an 1120 scud hook in a size 14 or 12.
