After two warm months of no trout fishing, I finally get to go fishing. It’s early September and I decide to head to North West MI to fish the Manistee River. In the morning I fish the upper stretch and catch a few small Brown Trout. After noon I headed downstream in search of some early Salmon. To my surprise I hooked a nice summer run steelhead drifting an egg fly through a deep hole.
