September 18, 2026 | 6 for 10 Out of Grand Haven! King Salmon & Steelhead ????

Had a great run Friday morning out of Grand Haven! We had three fish in the box before sunrise and unfortunately It was still a little too dark for the camera to be rolling for the first fish of the day but the action picked up quickly after that.
We were fishing in 128 feet of water, and the biggest fish of the day was just about 14 pounds. We had a bunch of nice 7–10 pound fish, one little one, and finished the day with a beautiful steelhead that hit on the 7-color lead core.

We also missed a few good fish on the 300 copper and Dipsy Divers. All in all, we finished the day 6 for 10 and had another great trip on the water!

That puts us at 112 total fish in the boat for the year! Hopefully this isn't the last trip of the season, but that will depend on whether the lake cooperates or not.

After that, it's time to put the fishing gear away and get after some bucks and ducks for the rest of the year!
