Searching for a 25lb Monster at Loch Mahon

In this session I head down to Loch Mahaon in Wexford for a tough 2-night carp fishing trip, with one goal in mind… landing one of the lake’s biggest residents — a 25lb monster carp

Things didn’t go to plan… the weather turned absolutely horrendous and made filming nearly impossible at times, which is why the video ends a bit abruptly.

On the final night and day, my brother-in-law Dave joins me to push through the conditions and keep the rods out. Despite the rain and pure misery… we managed to land a solid 15.5lb carp and many more, which made the whole trip worthwhile.

Not the result we were chasing, but that’s fishing — and we’ll be back for that 25lb beast ????
