“Steelhead Alley” refers to the Lake Erie tributary system stretching roughly from Erie, Pennsylvania, westward through Ohio and into New York (with the Pennsylvania section being the eastern anchor). These cold, Great Lakes tributaries receive massive runs of Lake Erie steelhead (migratory rainbow trout) every fall through spring, making the Erie area one of the most famous and accessible steelhead fisheries in the United States. In this video Taylor Farfour and Robbie Aitken of Maggie Valley Fly Shop in Western North Carolina are fishing up north in the region. #euronymphing #steelheadfishing #maggievalleyflyshop #bigfish #fishing #tiktok #instagram #facebook
