We were EARLY… then everything changed. ????????

On this trip to the Manistee River, I team up with Ron Wilson and Mark Ellis—two lifelong anglers with over 40 years of experience chasing steelhead. They take me upriver in a jet boat, showing me some of their favorite spots and teaching me how to centerpin fish for spring steelhead.

The first trip? Cold water, tough conditions, and very few fish around.

But after a warm spell moved in… we came back to the exact same water—and it completely turned on.
