In this episode of the CarpFix session film we head to Blasford Hill Fishery in search of some late Winter action. This 5-acre day ticket is Pecky’s local, and with several hundred carp present and an ever increasing number of 30’s it’s his first port of call when he needs a quick bite.
Having fished here a lot over the years he divulges in everything he knows with regards to the best swims and spots, and of course rigs, baits and tactics needed to succeed. During the quick 36-hour visit he implements simple 10mm boilie and catapult tactic, capturing five fish including the lakes largest resident at 34lbs.
