Irish pike fishing across multiple lakes turned into a full day of searching, wrong decisions, and finally a meter plus pike that saved the session.
Moving between different locations on Irish waters is always a gamble, and this time only one spot held active pike.

We started the day on a new lake and quickly managed to catch a pike early in the session. After spending around two hours there, we decided to move in search of more action.

The second location was completely new to us for predator fishing, but it turned out to be a mistake. No signs of pike, no follows, and no activity at all. A lot of time was lost travelling and trying to figure things out.

For the final move, we went back to a local water we know well, and that decision paid off. The action returned, and Andris managed to land a meter plus pike, along with a few more fish.

Once again, Strike Pro Guppies proved to be very effective, and the pike were clearly preferring shads, especially the Strike Pro Pig Shad.
