Bowfishing in Texas is a huge sport. The population of invasive carp in our lakes and river systems is out of control. Bowfishing helps keep the populations in check and also makes for great bait. I headed to my hometown lake with some of the unguided crew to chase some carp and gar. With the Texas weather doing what it does we weren't sure how the night was going to be. Although this was a very slow night compared to a normal night it was still a blast to get back out on the water and chase some fish. I hope you all enjoyed this video.
