This trip has been a long time coming. My good friend Alex, my wife Kalli, and I have been dreaming about chasing steelhead in central Idaho for months and we finally made it happen. With limited experience and just a whole lot of research, we headed into the heart of steelhead country not knowing exactly what to expect.

What followed was a mix of trial, error, and a little luck until everything finally clicked. Against the odds, we landed four beautiful steelhead and created memories we’ll never forget.

This trip was everything we hoped for and more. We’re already counting down the days until next season.
