Today’s fishing trip on Boone Lake, TN, took an unexpected turn… Moments before I could even start fishing, I managed to drop my GoPro into the lake. Instead of grabbing my rod, I grabbed my courage and dove in headfirst—literally. What was supposed to be a calm day turned into a six-minute underwater search mission, complete with splashing, flailing legs, and some questionable diving technique.

Once I finally found the GoPro, I switched gears and netted some fresh bait for a future fishing trip. Along the way, I stumbled into a few good-sized carp and plenty of laughs. This one’s part comedy, part fishing adventure, and all-around unpredictable.

???? Targets: Baitfish, Carp (and one very wet GoPro)
???? Vibe: Goofy, lighthearted, and a little ridiculous
