The October Ally is a modern October Caddis-inspired swing fly built for fall steelhead.

Tied on a size 10 Alec Jackson steelhead iron, this pattern combines old-school Northern California steelhead influence with modern materials and tying techniques. Coq de Leon adds durability, movement, and bulk through the tail and body, while a custom October Caddis dubbing blend, French oval tinsel, SLF, and pheasant rump create a buggy profile with plenty of movement in the water.
