Steelhead are finally here, it is December and the perfect time to be planing a trip to the river. With Salmon spawning nearing its end, hatchery steelhead are moving in to clean up what was left behind. A dropper jig allows the fisherman to effectively cover 2 areas of the water column at the same time while float fishing. I have had a lot of success with this method and wanted to share it with you.
