Bronzeback - Smallmouth
Buggy whip - fly fishing
Darrells - bait fisherman killing fish
Ditch Pickle - Largemouth
Ditch Missile -carp
Water wolves - northern Pike
Meat- streamer
Boofer- blue winged olive
Chuck and duck. - using weights
Garden hackle - worms
Specks--brook trout
Pig--very large trout
Mousing--fishing at night with large flies
Orvis casualty--well-appointed fly fisherman
Dialed in - using the right fly
Tomato stake--bamboo rod.
ChubRub - Chubby Chernobyl + Pats Rubberlegs
Golden Bonefish - Common Carp
Chunker - mid-sized FAT trout
Toad -Big Fish
Bobber - Indicator
Whores with Oars/River Pimps - Guides
Buzzing the Tower - A cast that comes close to the guides head.
Farming = hooking, and subsequently losing fish
Bumper Boat = someone who doesn’t know how to row
Kraut Trout = brown trout
frank fishing = naked hook = nap
Donk- big fish
Walt-walleye
Tax man-pike
Patagucci - expensive clothing
Farmed it-blew the hook set.
Turned a fish - Didn't catch it
Greaser = Lake Trout
Bugle mouth bass = sucker
Ripping lips = setting the hook way too hard.

Bottom holer, somebody who drops in just down stream from you and starts fishing

Beat - a section of river
Zombie - spawned out salmon

Bushwhack - going off the trail to access the stream
Bug twisting - tying flies
Euro nymph - any number of European methods of fishing a nymph
Point fly - the lowest fly on a multi fly rig
Smaw jaw - small mouth bass
Hennies - hendricksons
Light hennies - size 16 sulphurs
Creekin’ - fishing a small stream
Spot - positioning a vehicle at the end of your wade/float
Float - fishing from a boat
Holy waters- the no kill section of the mainstream of the au sable
Shoulders- big mature fish
Bank Maggots - Shore anglers who leave trash behind
Aluminum hatch- canoe traffic
Hammer Handle - Small northern pike
Wind knot - knot from bad cast
Birds nest- tangled line
Googans = dirty boot salmon snaggers and flossers (most anyone you don’t like)
Egg wagon - Pre Spawn female fish loaded with eggs.
Squirrel Hunter -The fisher who seems to place his fly/lure in the trees
Sewer salmon = carp
Toledo Trout-sheepshead
Trucker trout- all stocked trout
dimes-chrome fish

Bikini Hatch - tubers
Strip - pulling line in short tugs
EPIC! - hooking a fish
Fishmobile- car or truck with lots of stickers and smell of waders
