First time fishing this spot, waded in and started throwing dicknites just before sunrise and switched to steelhead slammers. Bummed I thought I had this king in the mouth based on the fight and flash of this lure but bringing her up quickly made the release she was foul hooked. :( hopefully next time I'll have a better hookset and take home dinner.
10lb Braid to 12lb Flouro leader, Medium action spinning rod....made this fight all but easy.
