Steelhead fishing on Vancouver Island isn’t always easy—especially when the fish don’t show up! I hit the road, checked multiple spots, and put in 12,000 steps searching for that perfect catch. From the fisheries to the trestle bridge and beyond, it was a full day of adventure, even if the fish had other plans.
