Ann afternoon out on the water with Joe Webster of All-points Fly shop. Joe ties some big flies and the Pike love um. I used a floating line with a heavy dumbbell eyed fly. Joe ran a sinking line with an unweighted fly and Pike were eating both offerings. Slow and steady strips and pauses won the day. There was still ice along the edges of the water and some larger sections covering still backwaters.
