I left what used to be the best Steelhead River in the State to catch one of the least delectable Salmon Species available in our local waters. The Humpy. Otherwise known as, "Pink" Salmon from the Puyallup River.

The Cowlitz River did not yield a Steelhead so after a few hours, I packed up and Bobby and I hit the Puyallup River for some Pink Salmon drift fishing action. Several Pinks were caught along with a couple nice Coho/Silver Salmon. I also ran into a subscriber who was enjoying the "every other" year Salmon fishing Season... Pink Salmon only run every other year...
